About Bronagh M. Kelly, Esq.

Raised in her home country of Ireland, Bronagh M. Kelly has been practicing law in the US since 2012.

Her legal expertise has her primarily focused on family law, covering matters of divorce, child custody, prenuptial & postnuptial agreements, family mediation and more.

She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University Belfast in Ireland, with a year abroad at the University of Salamanca in Spain diving into Spanish Law and languages.

After passing the New York Bar Exam in 2011, Bronagh started her career in commercial defense litigation in New York City, tackling complex cases involving major clients like international hotel chains and large insurers.

In 2016, she moved to Reno after marrying a fifth-generation Nevadan, transitioning her focus to family law at Woodburn and Wedge. This shift has been both thrilling and fulfilling for Bronagh, leveraging her litigation skills to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.

In recognition of her achievements, Bronagh was named the State Bar of Nevada’s Young Lawyer of the Year in 2020. Concerning pro bono work, Bronagh regularly volunteers at the Washoe County Lawyer in the Library Program, providing legal advice to members of the community. She was named the Outstanding Family Law Volunteer in 2020 and 2021 for her contribution to pro bono services.

Beyond law, Bronagh unwinds by skiing and paddleboarding at Lake Tahoe with her family, exploring new destinations, and enjoying visits home to Ireland.

In recognition of her achievements, Bronagh was named the State Bar of Nevada’s Young Lawyer of the Year in 2020.
